“So stick by his side I know there’s dudes balling and yeah that’s nice And they gonna keep calling and trying but you stay right girl And when you get on he leave your ass for a white girl” Now why do you question women’s loyalty? No matter how good of a significant other we are, we will still be replaced by another model right? So why not get what we can while we can. Also, O think a woman’s loyalty to a man is connected with her financial need of him. Meaning that is he’s her only or biggest source of income, she’s less likely to stray. Of course, this is my opinion and no absolute research has been done. But there’s much more to this Kanye West line than meets the eye. This is about black women and how no matter what, we’re always going to lose. Especially when competing against white women. You think I’m exaggerating? Kanye’s ex Amber Rose is as equally if not better looking than his wife Kim Kardsahian, yet he felt the need to trash her like their two years together meant nothing. Amber Rose can be identified as black and is considered black royalty. She is lauded by black men for her light skin and curves. Nonetheless, she is still black. Black women do not give black men a sense of accomplishment as white women do. No matter how successful or rich a black man is, that money won’t make him feel complete until he has some eye candy he can show off and be proud of. SO where does this leave black women? Honestly, I don’t know since I’m still figuring things out myself. The purpose of my blog isn’t to make anyone feel better or offer advice. I’m merely stating how I see the world. It is up to you, the reader, to decide what you want to do with what you’ve read.
Don’t talk like one of them. You’re not! Even if you’d like to be. To them, you’re just a freak, like me! They need you right now, but when they don’t, they’ll cast you out, like a leper! You see, their morals, their code, it’s a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They’re only as good as the world allows them to be. I’ll show you. When the chips are down, these… these civilized people, they’ll eat each other. See, I’m not a monster. I’m just ahead of the curve- The Joker
Now I bet you’re wondering if I have some deep philosophical purpose for Heath Ledger and I like the psychopathy and mystery of the Joker. I like crazy men. There, I said it. Well no I shouldn’t say that because technically I don’t like them but I can’t help being the joker’s quote. Haha. Nope. Simply, I think the joker is hot. Partly because I know under all that make up is the late but nevertheless handsome to them physically (sexually). Another example would be Loki from the Thor. Holy crap! Now there’s a morally ambiguous character. You don’t know if he’s trying to take over the world or is hurting because he never felt like he belonged. 😢 But there’s another reason for my and many’s attraction to ‘crazy’ characters. How special would it feel if an insane person did a complete 360 just for you. His feeling for you are so powerful that it makes him want to change his life. Ooh how about this? You’re even more special because he’s a total jerk to everyone else but you’re a queen in his life. I can just picture it now. Can someone say romance novel?!
Oh oh and I guess you can pull something philosophical from this quote. People are at their best when they need something. Their true colors show when you can’t fulfill that need. I like to guess what the joker’s history is. I think he symbolizes the truth of human nature. That’s why he can adapt to any surrounding.
